Local Logistics During the ATI

Course Details

Teaching sessions for the ATI will be held at Dyer Hall on campus of the University of Cincinnati, in a Psychology Department computer lab. Computers with internet access and NLM software will be provided for use by each participant during the ATI.

Maps of campus can be viewed here. Dyer Hall is located near the lower left corner of the “West Campus Map,” just below University Pavilion.

The course will run from 9:00 am on Monday, June 8, through early afternoon on Friday, June 12.  The last day will be scheduled so that participants will have the option to leave at noon in order to get to the airport, and will not miss any substantive sessions.  A tentative schedule for the ATI is available online, by clicking here. After participants are selected for the ATI, APA will request a 200-word bio describing your research and background and a digital photo from each person, to be distributed before the ATI to the faculty and other course participants.  We have found that having this chance to "meet" your fellow participants before the session makes the ATI a greater opportunity for networking and professional development.

Lodging

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza Sunday, June 7, through Friday, June 12, at the discounted group rate of $99 per night for king-bedded rooms and $109 per night for rooms with two queen beds, based on availability at the time of booking.  The hotel is located at 35 West Fifth Street, Cincinnati, and is near many restaurants and shops.
