Awards, Honors and Research Funding
Each year, the Science Directorate honors researchers, students and departments in psychology through various awards and honors programs. In addition, we publish a monthly listing of federal funding opportunities available to researchers in psychology. Both the funding listing and awards/honors programs are intended for researchers from all subdisciplines of psychological science and contribute to our overall mission: to communicate, facilitate, promote and represent psychological science and scientists.
Awards and honors for:
Award for Distinguished Service to Psychological Science: An award to recognize individuals who have made outstanding contributions to psychological science through their commitment to a culture of service.
Departmental Award for Culture of Service in the Psychological Sciences: Recognizes departments that demonstrate a commitment to service in the psychological sciences.
Meritorious Research Service Commendation: Honors scientists employed by federal or private funding agencies for their programmatic support for the development of psychological science.
