The Joint Committee on Testing Practices (JCTP) is composed of representatives from professional organizations and test publishers who work together to improve the use and quality of tests The committee provides a forum for the exchange of information and for the identification of issues of mutual concern. The committee develops documents such as the Code of Fair Testing Practices in Education, Sourcebook on Assessing Individuals with Disabilities, Rights and Responsibilities of Test Takers: Guidelines and Expectations, a book on Responsible Test Use, and has developed a videotape on school testing.
