National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) Organized Programming
The NIDA Behavioral Science Working Group is planning several events at the APA Convention this year, with associated Student Travel Awards. It will be holding a satellite workshop on research career building on Thursday, August 3rd. NIDA has organized, with several APA divisions, a series of invited lectures around the theme of "Vulnerability to Drug Abuse" during Focus on Science.

Invited Lectures: Vulnerability to Drug Abuse
Eight invited lectures are planned throughout Focus on Science on the theme of "Vulnerability to Drug Abuse," ranging from neurobiology and genetics to family and community factors. These lectures are co-hosted by APA divisions and NIDA.
