Science Directorate Programs
The mission of the APA Science Directorate is to communicate, facilitate, promote and represent psychological science and scientists. These goals are achieved through programs that promote psychological science in academic and scientific arenas, address ongoing issues and opportunities, communicate activities, issues and opportunities to members and to the public, and advocate on behalf of scientific psychology.

The Office on Research Ethics coordinates activities and initiatives in research ethics and the responsible conduct of research.Science Government Relations Office
The APA Science Policy Office (GRO) advocates in multiple areas to influence policy decisions that advance and preserve the infrastructure of psychological science. One of our primary goals is to educate and empower APA members and psychologists to advocate for the discipline.
