Psychologists Named to Prestigious Academies
Four psychologists were among those 90 scientists recently elected to be a member or foreign associate of the U.S. National Academy of Sciences. The three new members are:

Thomas D. Albright, professor and director of the Vision Center Laboratory at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies in La Jolla, California. |

Wilson S. Geisler, professor of psychology and biomedical engineering, David Wechsler Regents Chair in Psychology, and Director of the Center for Perceptual Systems at the University of Texas, Austin. |

J. Anthony Movshon, Silver Professor, professor of neural science and psychology, and director of the Center for Neural Science at New York University. |
 |
The new foreign associate is:
Anne Cutler, professor at the Institute for Cognition and Information at the University of Nijmegen and director of the Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics, Nijmegen, Netherlands. |
