Awards - Positive psychology research: Templeton Positive Psychology Prize This award recognizes outstanding mid-career research in the
science of positive psychology and encourages the best and most visionary of
today's young researchers to devote their efforts toward advancing this

Contribution Awards Annual award program honoring psychologists who have made distinguished theoretical or empirical contributions
to basic research in psychology, and also those whose contributions lead to the understanding or amelioration of important practical problems.Annual application deadline: June 1.
Awards - Dissertation research funding: Dissertation Research Awards Annual award program to assist doctoral students with the costs of
dissertation research. Information about the competitive application process
becomes available online each spring. Annual application deadline
occurs in September.
Awards - Graduate student travel funds: APA Student Travel Awards Annual award program for graduate students who have been accepted to
present their work at the APA Convention. Information about the competitive application process
becomes available online each fall. Annual application deadline
occurs in April.
Funding - Psychology research: FundSource Created with support from NSF and APA, FundSource is a unique and comprehensive
search tool for locating research funding opportunities in the behavioral sciences.
Funding - Research conferences: Scientific Conferences
Proposals for research conferences that will promote the exchange of important
new contributions and approaches in scientific psychology are reviewed and
funded twice each year. Annual application deadlines: June 1, December 1.
Funding - Student-organized conferences: Student-Initiated
Research Conference (SIRC) grant program This grant program for small research conferences organized by graduate student
committees is funded by the APA Science Student Council (APASSC) and the American
Psychological Association of Graduate Students (APAGS). Annual application
deadlines occur in spring and fall.

Grants for Fostering Psychology/Education Partnerships Seed grants were awarded to psychology and education departments to
