The Bell Curve, a controversial book which sparked intense debate about the meaning of intelligence test scores and the nature of intelligence
itself.

An annual program which sends 2-4 outstanding psychological scientists to the annual meetings of the
APA-affiliated regional psychological associations to present their research;

Statistics: Task Force on Statistical
Inference (TFSI) Reports
The first report addresses two important issues issues: 1) the role of
null hypothesis significance testing in psychological research; and 2) the modification of current practice in the
quantitative treatment of data in the science of psychology. The follow-up
report, Statistical Methods in Psychology Journals: Guidelines and Explanations,
was developed as a
means of initiating discussion in the field regarding changes in current practices of data analysis and
reporting.
