Mission Statement: The mission of this office is to support research psychologists working within various areas of the field of applied psychological science. Our primary goal is to develop and implement initiatives that facilitate the growth and progression of the field of applied psychological science.
What is Applied Psychological Science?
The understanding of the psychological and behavioral phenomenon of individuals, groups or organizations in settings such as education, training, business, government, health or service institutions, public or private sector, for profit and non-profit. Applied psychological science is a part of the APA science directorate which represents research psychologists working in non-academic settings.
