I'm having problems printing an article.
There are several common problems when it comes to printing documents. Perhaps the right-most edge of the document is cut off because it is too wide to fit on the paper, or maybe the graphics are too large or do not fit on the paper. You may find a remedy in one of these common solutions:
If a PDF version of the document is available, we recommend you select that format to print. PDFs are designed as a printable format, where all text and graphics properly fit on the paper.
If you do not already have the free Adobe Acrobat Reader, please download it. If you do have it, update to the latest version compatible with your computer’s operating system. Click on the link above—the download is free.
Try setting your printer to print the pages in landscape (wide) orientation as opposed to portrait. That should give you the full page without the right side cut off.
In most browsers, you can do this by going to the File menu → Print, and then clicking the “Properties” or “Preferences” button. This opens a window offering you all the options specific to your printer; look for an Orientation section, and click "Landscape."
Many browsers offer a "Scale" function, which allows you to shrink the image to be printed. For example, in Internet Explorer (Version 7), from the Print Preview page (which you access by going to File menu → Print Preview) you can “Shrink to Fit” to the page or you can set your own percentage. Try entering 90%, 85%, or smaller, until you find the size that fits on your paper.
You may also try reducing the margin settings to allow more of the page image to fit onto the paper. If your browser provides such functions, you should find them either under the File menu, then Page Setup, or under File menu, then Print; or sometimes under File menu, then Print Preview.
