APA produces PsycBOOKS, a full-text database of full-text electronic access to books, and is searchable by book title, as well as individual chapters of books. Your library may subscribe to PsycBOOKs. If so, you will have full-text access to these books or chapters through the internet. Each month, books published by APA and classic books from other publishers are added to the database. –See a list of the latest releases.

Your library may have other electronic full-text products for chapters and books. Please consult with your librarian to find out what is available. If your librarian cannot find the book on the shelves, it may be accessible through interlibrary loan. This is usually a free service.

If the book is not available through interlibrary loan or through a database to which your library subscribes, and it is part of the PsycBOOKS database, you can get it by subscribing to the APA PsycNET GOLD or PLATINUM databases or through APA PsycNET Direct on a pay-per-view basis.
