What is a PsycSCAN?
A PsycSCAN is a subset of the PsycINFO database on a particular topic, containing abstracts of journal articles in a specialty area such as neuropsychology or clinical psychology. All eight APA PsycSCANs are presented electronically.
If you subscribe to an APA PsycSCAN(s), log in directly.
If you subscribe to the "premium" Platinum package, you have complimentary access to the online PsycSCANs.
Everything that is in the PsycSCANS is also in the full PsycINFO database. Members of APA's Division 39 (Psychoanalysis) receive free subscriptions to Psychoanalytic Abstracts as a division membership benefit. More information about the APA electronic subscription packages.
