Programs scheduled for periodic review in 2016 have been randomly assigned a review cycle. This will be the last cycle of program review under the Guidelines and Principles for Accreditation (G&P).
G&P Self-Study Submission
Accredited programs assigned to a 2016 site visit will complete an online self-study; paper self-study submissions from accredited programs will not be accepted. The Office of Program Consultation (OPCA) strongly encourages program directors to watch the online tutorials on how to submit a self-study online. Applicant programs applying for accreditation between Sept. 1, 2015 and May 1, 2016, will not have access to the online self-study portal and as such must submit a paper self-study.
G&P Self-Study Training
As the Commission on Accreditation prepares for implementation of the Standards of Accreditation for Health Service Psychology, it will only offer one more G&P focused self-study workshop on Oct. 7, 2015, in Louisville, Kentucky. This workshop will provide a detailed review of the accreditation domains of the G&P, cover how the G&P is applied, and provide a forum for program/training directors to brush up on recent changes to any Implementing Regulations or for new directors to be exposed to the accreditation process. There is no cost to attend.
