Description
Depression and suicide among youth are increasingly important clinical and public health concerns. This intermediate workshop presents a modular cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) protocol developed for treating moderately to severely depressed youth. The presenters describe a range of cognitive and behavioral assessment and treatment strategies and review research supporting the short- and long-term effectiveness of the approach, moderators and predictors of change (including socioeconomic status and life events), and predictors of relapse and recurrence. The presenters’ goals are practical—to provide participants with an understanding of cutting-edge, empirically supported CBT treatments for depressed youth.
Webinars are converted to video on-demand programs with closed captioning after the live air date.
