Troubleshooting “Zoom Fatigue” in The Era of Telehealth
Many psychologists report that delivering services through telehealth is “harder” and “more draining” than in-person care. Some researchers link these phenomena to increased cognitive challenges related to telepsychology—even coining the term “Zoom fatigue.” Discover practical strategies that psychologists can use to lessen the stress of using daily videoconferencing and get the guidance you need to develop your personal plan to reduce stress and burnout, while learning:
- How to assess your workplace needs to minimize stress.
- What hardware and software combinations make telehealth more manageable.
- Routine processes that reduce time and effort on documentation.
- Functions that can be done by an administrative assistant rather than a clinician.
