Timeline to complete doctoral degree delayed

According to the National Center for Science and Engineering Statistics, National Science Foundation, Biomedical & Biomedical Sciences had the largest delay in doctoral degree completion at 60% while Mathematics & Statistics had the least delay at 38%. All fields had an average of a 53% delay with the field of psychology having a 39% delay.
