This line graph shows the number of psychology master’s degrees awarded between 2014 and 2023, broken down into total degrees, health service psychology degrees, and research degrees. Across the decade, all three categories increased. Total degrees rose from about 28,500 in 2014 to 38,033 in 2023, showing the strongest overall growth. Health service psychology degrees also grew steadily, from 16,336 in 2014 to 22,681 in 2023. Research degrees increased more modestly, from 12,164 in 2014 to 15,352 in 2023. Overall, the chart demonstrates consistent growth in psychology master’s degrees, with the largest increases seen in total degrees and health service psychology.
