This infographic from APA’s Stress in AmericaTM Survey report for March 2022, the second pandemic survey report, shows the percent of Americans, by racial and ethnic groups, who report money, the economy, and housing as sources of stress.

The data breakdown for racial and ethnic groups who report money, the economy, and housing as sources of stress are as follows:

Latino adults

Seventy-five percent reported that money was a significant source of stress, 73% reported that the economy was a significant source of stress, and 62% reported that housing was a significant source of stress.

Black adults

Sixty-seven percent reported that money was a significant source of stress, 65% reported that the economy was a significant source of stress, and 57% reported that housing was a significant source of stress.

White adults

Sixty-three percent reported that money was a significant source of stress, 63% reported that the economy was a significant source of stress, and 45% reported that housing was a significant source of stress.

Asian adults

Fifty-seven percent reported that money was a significant source of stress, 60% reported that the economy was a significant source of stress, and 47% reported that housing was a significant source of stress.
