We understand the importance of accessing critical psychological research in a seamless and timely manner. Users may freely search APA PsycNet® to find full-text journal articles and book chapters.

APA PsycNet provides multiple institutional authentication options to ensure users can access essential research, whether on- or off-campus.

  • For users that land on APA content via search engines, such as Google Scholar or PubMed, APA PsycNet’s “Get Access” feature now allows for IP authentication to validate an institution’s subscription to APA databases. This feature will provide users with a one-time download link to the requested PDF, providing seamless access to needed research.
  • Users outside of your institution’s IPs may access an article or book chapter via APA PsycNet’s “Get Access” entitlements. Simply enter your institutional email address to receive a one-time download link to the requested content.
  • Remote users can access full-text content via Google CASA links, which use secure tokens to recognize off-campus users.
  • Institutions may choose between IP, including proxy by stanza, or OpenAthens authentication methods.

If you are not authenticated via a personal or institutional subscription, you may be required to pay for On-Demand access. Please check with your institution for subscription and access details.
