Highlights

PsycINFO services

Subscribers accessing APA PsycInfo® on APA PsycNet® are now being offered a data request option for large-scale analysis of content from APA's premier research databases.

Analyze and Discover

APA offers a new service for APA PsycInfo subscribers that provides unprecedented access to the content found in APA research databases. Whether looking for expanded access to publication and citation data or content for mining, users are provided with appropriate access for their specific data request.

This service benefits students, researchers, practitioners, educators, historians, policymakers, publishers, and more by enabling users to identify trends and patterns in psychological and behavioral science research, chart a researcher's career, find the history of a particular intervention or methodology, aid in literature review, or answer other detailed research questions.

Through this service, APA PsycInfo subscribers on APA PsycNet can request custom sets of bibliographic/citation metadata and abstracts. This service is provided only for APA PsycInfo subscribers and does not include the delivery of full-text content.

Bibliographic/citation metadata and abstracts for APA PsycArticles® and APA PsycBooks® are included in APA PsycInfo and will also be available to APA PsycInfo subscribers who utilize this service.

Types of Requests

There are two APA PsycInfo service request options for high-volume access to content:

  • Metadata Requests: Custom files that include user-specified metadata fields from APA's research databases.
  • Citation Requests: Bulk export of references from the APA databases into a third-party reference management product using the APA PsycNet platform.
