Key Observations: From 2022 to 2024, we have seen an increase in the percentage of CoR members who self-identify as a person of color (21% in 2022; 33% in 2024). In 2021, we had a lower response rate, which may have been attributed to several uncontrollable factors, such as the Covid-19 pandemic and societal tensions in the United States. As a result, the racial and ethnic representation may be additionally skewed in 2021, suggesting that there was a decline in the percentage of CoR members who self-identify as a person of color from 2021 to 2022. However, we know this may not be a true reflection of the change in racial/ethnic representation. It is also important to note that this data is self-provided and voluntary. Not all 182 members of CoR respond, and some select “prefer not to answer.” These responses have been removed to provide more accurate percentages of those who have volunteered racial/ethnic information.
