AIMM strategic priority areas

The current three strategic priority areas for advancing to the next maturity level at APA

Priority 1

Raise disability awareness, increase knowledge, and bolster accessibility skills
Outcome: psychologists, members and non-members, and staff so they can confidently create inclusive, equitable, and accessible spaces where people with disabilities feel valued, supported, and included.

Priority 2

Further improve disability inclusion and accessibility at meetings and events
Outcome: Create meetings and events that are inclusive and psychologically safe for people with disabilities and that allow them to participate to the fullest extent possible.

Priority 3

Continue to increase web presence and improve digital accessibility
Outcome: Increase digital access to psychological science for people with disabilities.
