As we move forward with the implementation of our strategic priorities, we are being more intentional about tapping into our members’ knowledge and expertise across a broad range of issues.
I witnessed firsthand how successful that can be on a recent call with our new Change Management Advisory Group, composed of experts from Division 13opens in new window (Society of Consulting Psychology) and Division 14opens in new window (Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology).
The group offered enormously helpful insights on tools and strategies we can use to push forward the organization’s transformational change work needed to advance our strategic priorities. It is a wonderful example of the brain trust we have in APA and the progress we can make when we draw upon our members’ expertise. We look forward to continuing to involve our members.
In the coming weeks and months, you will be learning more about both the content of our work to advance our strategic priorities and the approach we are taking to accomplish this work.
