APA has named its first-ever Chief of Strategic Implementation and Membership. Ian D. King, currently APA’s Chief of Membership Officer, is now charged with overseeing the implementation of our new strategic plan. It’s an area he is well versed in having led the strategic plan development process with David Ballard, PsyD, who leads our new Office of Applied Psychology. Ian will also continue to oversee APA membership, a role he has held since coming to the association in 2015.
I look forward to our continued engagement with membership as we collectively work to advance our organization’s strategic priorities.
