Below are some ways to utilize this online community:
- My Profile: Make sure to add your profile picture. This can be a professional headshot from APA 2024 or a nice selfie. Take a moment to create your summary to let other APA community members know a little more about you.
- Groups: If you are an APA member you can look through all the groups to find the many places you wish to engage with others. These include more professional groups (including divisions) to passion based like a book club. We recommend taking the time to find your groups to get the most from this online community.
- My Settings: Click on your profile picture in the upper right corner to see the “My Settings” arrow. Here you can find your way to the privacy and notification settings. We recommend looking through both to make sure you are receiving the communications you desire and feel comfortable on this platform.
- Messaging: Directly to the left of your profile picture in the upper right corner, you will see a ‘Messages’ icon. Click here to create new conversations with fellow community members. Through these you have many options, such as sending a file or picture.
