The Division Leadership Portal (DLP) which houses division member information has undergone a major upgrade. We are delighted to announce that based on the requests of division leaders, DLP now includes demographic information for members (when available). You will find new graphs and detailed information on things like professional identity, race, degrees, and more. The design has been reviewed by User Experience experts as well as volunteer division leaders that participated in testing the upgraded portal.
The upgraded DLP not only has more information about your members, but the technology has been upgraded as well. It was rebuilt on a more stable platform for optimal performance (which should resolve the issue of the portal being down unexpectedly) and it’s a mobile responsive design so that you can access it from your phone or tablet.
Please note that if you had the previous version of the DLP bookmarked, the page you have bookmarked will no longer work. The new link is in your MyAPA page in the same place as it used to be (under Groups and Affiliations), but you can also access the new DLP with this direct link: https://insights.apa.org/dlp (please bookmark and note that the email address and password are case sensitive). You will find a user guide inside the portal.
As a reminder, the DLP is available to the president, president elect, past president, membership chair, treasurer, secretary, listserv administrator, and executive director/administrator of each division.
More upgrades are planned for the near future. Please continue to send us your feedback and suggestions so that the DLP remains a valuable tool for you. If you have any questions or initial comments, please contact your division engagement liaison.
