You may hear members say they forgot to renew, thought they had renewed, lost their renewal statement or other things that indicate they do want to renew, even if they haven’t yet. As a division, in addition to any renewal notices that APA sends on your behalf, you can help remind members who have not renewed for 2022. In three quick steps, you can pull a list of members who have not yet renewed:
- Access the Division Leadership Portal (DLP) and open the Division Roster Report.
- Set the filters to the current membership year and check the “Non-Renewed” Box.
- Click on the “View Detail” button to display your list and export it.
Once you have your list, you can send a message to those that haven’t renewed and direct them to MyAPA to renew.
The renewal link will be on the upper right if they have an open invoice, or the division(s) can be added by scrolling down to the division section and clicking the “View all divisions and learn how to join.”*
Full instructions on how to access the portal and export your list can be found in the DLP Instructions Manualopens in new window. If you need help drafting a renewal reminder message, you may consider asking other divisions for samples they have used or contacting your division engagement liaison for support crafting your message. Remember to make a note of your membership count before and after any renewal reminders to identify the impact the message may have had on your numbers.
