The following is a non-exhaustive list of APA's and APASI's trademarks and service marks in the United States.
About this List
The American Psychological Association (APA) and its affiliates own trademarks and service marks used across our publications, platforms, and programs. This page lists those marks and explains how to request permission to use them.
Marks shown with a ® symbol are federally registered with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
Marks shown with a ™ symbol are protectable trademarks that have not yet been registered with the USPTO.
Omission of a mark from this list does not waive any rights in that mark. APA reserves the right to update this list periodically.

Requesting permission to use an APA mark
You may not use any APA mark, or any mark displayed on APA's sites, without prior written consent from APA or the owner of that mark.
Where APA has granted permission in writing, use the mark as an adjective modifying the generic term it describes, for example, “APA Style® guidelines.” Do not pluralize a mark, use it as a verb, abbreviate it, translate it, or alter its spelling, spacing, or punctuation. Include the attribution line supplied with your permission.
