The Commission on Accreditation (CoA) and the Office of Program Consultation and Accreditation (OPCA) are extremely pleased to announce the formal launch of the new Accreditation Consultation Training (ACT) program. When the Standards of Accreditation (SoA) were being drafted, the CoA determined that additional training resources would be necessary to familiarize and educate its publics on the changes and requirements in the new policies. After several years of sustained efforts by staff and commissioners, the training platform is now available to the public.
Comprised of thirty-one modules designed for each level of training accredited by the commission, ACT is an online and interactive training environment that offers users in-depth instruction about the SoA and associated Implementing Regulations. In addition, each level of training includes a module about completing the self-study. The ACT training modules are offered at no cost to users.
Information about ACT, including instructions for gaining access, is available online. Individuals must create a profile in order to access the modules, which requires an active email address. To request additional information about the ACT system, get assistance with access, or provide feedback, please contact us or call (202) 336-5979.
