Meet the New CoA Chair, Dr. Aaron Joyce

The Commission on Accreditation gladly welcomes Aaron Joyce as the new Chair! Dr. Joyce is Board Certified in Clinical Health Psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology. He is currently a Staff Psychologist at the Marion VA Medical Center and is located in Paducah, Kentucky. Dr. Joyce has previously been the Director of Psychology Training at the Southwest Consortium Doctoral Internship and New Mexico Health Care System Postdoctoral Residency Programs (both of which are APA accredited). He completed his PhD in Clinical Psychology at Saint Louis University. Dr. Joyce joined the CoA as an open seat in 2018 and was later nominated by the APPIC-Training Communities CoA Nominations Committee (ATCCNC). He served as the Associate Chair of Quality Assurance in 2021 and the Associate Chair of Program Review in 2022. We look forward to seeing what Dr. Joyce has in store for this year’s commission!
