On January 12, 2024, the CoA hosted a virtual town hall presentation titled, Master’s Accreditation Update and Brief Overview of Key Points for Programs, which was widely attended. The presentation has been made available on the master’s accreditation webpage; it describes the current status of master’s program accreditation and answers many frequently asked questions.
The CoA Master’s Accreditation Work Group (MAWG) continues to make progress developing procedures and processes for the accreditation of master’s programs. At the winter 2024 policy meeting, the CoA finalized site visit training materials and site visit policies and procedures; these were designed for the initial accreditation trial that is ongoing.
