Looking for an opportunity to share knowledge, take advantage of professional development, discover continuing education opportunities, and advance professional networks? If so, plan to attend one of the regional psychological association conferences scheduled for early 2024. These conferences are sponsored by the seven regional psychological associations. Each conference features invited lectures and talks from leading psychologists across the United States; papers and posters that address a wide range of topics in current psychological science; workshops that focus on the teaching of psychology as a subject, research methods, and statistics; and discussion groups, roundtables, and social events where members can share ideas and interests.
Regional psychological association conferences offer an incredible opportunity for educators across the country to network and collaborate with other leading professionals in their field. Connecting with like-minded colleagues who are passionate about the study of psychology facilitates the sharing of ideas and the expansion of psychological knowledge. Gaining exposure to new, cutting-edge research in the field represents a paramount opportunity for educators to enhance the efficacy of their teaching, and to provide students with a meaningful understanding of everything the field of psychology has to offer. Regional associations are representative of the scientific and professional interests of psychologists within a given region of the country.
