Stephanie B.R. Rothman, PhD, associate professor of psychology at Baldwin Wallace University, will discuss the work of Baldwin Wallace’s Psychology Department Values Committee in assessing how well they met APA’s Goal 3, Values in Psychological Science. As she explains the assessment process, Rothman will also give advice and direction on doing your own audit for APA Guidelines 3.0. Following the Baldwin Wallace committee’s 2-year assessment, the committee produced a report summarizing the findings and making recommendations.
The webinar will also discuss tips and tricks for writing your own goal audit. Following the assessment process, the committee spent 1.5 years working on implementing some of the recommendations from the audit. The speaker will share how this has been going and what work is planned for the future. You will leave this webinar with an idea of how to do your own assessment for an APA goal in your department, how to complete an audit, and finally, how to begin implementing the changes from your own assessment process.
