Psi Chi’s Board of Directors has unanimously approved streamlined membership requirements that reduce barriers for undergraduate transfer students to join. Effective immediately, all credits and grades from a transfer student’s previous institution(s) may be applied to meet standard undergraduate membership requirements. In other words, chapter faculty advisors and/or prospective members could elect to include all baccalaureate-level credits and grades to meet Psi Chi eligibility.

Psi Chi is the International Honor Society in Psychologyopens in new window, with chapters located at more than 1,000 4-year colleges and universities across the United States and other countries. Undergraduate students, graduate students, full-time and part-time faculty, and now an increased number of transfer students are eligible to join Psi Chi through their local chapter.
