Description
The VA/DoD Clinical Practice Guideline updated in 2015 addresses many of the critical decision points in the Management of Substance Use Disorders among adults. The guideline incorporates findings from a systematic review of empirical literature and other decision domains by the guideline development panel to support actionable recommendations that can inform shared decision making by patients and providers to promote individualized care. This program presented by Daniel Kivlahan, PhD, and hosted by Bruce Liese, PhD, discusses the overview of the guideline recommendations and how they were developed, including discussion of some of the gaps in the evidence base and selected clinical challenges.
This product is not included in the APA Unlimited CE program.
