This module is geared towards intervention planning for students exhibiting emotional and behavioral problems. The three goals of the module are to a) increase understanding of the causes of severe misbehavior, b) use a five-stage model of functional behavioral assessment to develop and implement a behavioral intervention plan, and c) make behavioral interventions more effective by linking them with what we know about specific students and specific behaviors.
