Description
This article identifies common ethical missteps and a variety of ways to prevent and address them. Operating outside the scope of practice, failing to document violence or suicidality, and failing to protect patient confidentiality are examples of common ethical missteps that are addressed in this program, together with critical considerations regarding their management and prevention.
