Description
Group Psychodynamic-Interpersonal Psychotherapy (GPIP) is an evidence-based transdiagnostic group treatment. In this workshop, the presenter reviews the underlying theories (attachment, interpersonal, psychodynamic) of assessment and treatment, individual assessment processes that lead to a case formulation, how the case formulation informs treatment goals and interventions, and group therapy interventions that are most indicated at different stages of the group. The workshop is mainly didactic, but also includes a review and discussion of a video demonstration of GPIP from the APA Video Series to illustrate some of the concepts.
Webinars are converted to video on-demand programs with closed captioning after the live air date
