Description
One’s practice may come to an end abruptly due to illness or death, or it may be by intention—for example, due to moving or retirement—or when the mental health professional wants to sell the practice.
Using an interview format, supported by slides, two experts will be interviewed. This program will look at how to best prepare for each of the above scenarios so that patient care can be assured and the obligations of the practice as a clinical business entity can be transferred or terminated in a responsible fashion that meets or exceeds ethical, legal and regulatory requirements. Challenges for preparing for the abrupt disability or death of a practice owner will be discussed. Strategies for selling a practice will also be addressed.
Webinars are converted to video on-demand programs with closed captioning after the live air date
