Description
This introductory workshop offers practical advice for supporting grieving children, with an emphasis on the theoretical rationale behind the ideas. Statistics indicate that many kids cope with loss early in their lives, but most adults are unaware of grief’s effects on children and are often unprepared to help. Understanding the unique perspective of bereaved children is essential in supporting them through the grieving process. Information derived from the presenter’s ongoing research study and grief support services is described.
Webinars are converted to video on-demand programs with closed captioning after the live air date.
