Description
On January 20, 2020, COVID-19 was confirmed in the U.S., and cases here now outnumber other countries. The current public health crisis and associated stressors such as social distancing, media bombardment, and the uncertainty of daily life have resulted in a surge of anxiety and related problems (Garfin, Silver, & Holman, 2020; Garfin, Thompson, & Holman, 2018). This webinar will explain the psychological processes driving and maintaining emotional and functional problems related to COVID-19 (Frank & Davidson, 2014; Frank & McKay, 2020), and will provide practical solutions for managing anxiety and helping clinicians and clients weather the storm.
Original webcast date: April 23, 2020
