The founder of FBGT, Martyn Whittingham, PhD, CGP, FAGPA, FAPA, outlines how Yalom's work was adapted into a ten-session model that uses the interpersonal circumplex to personalize and bring focus to treatment. Outcome and process-outcome research is discussed, and key theoretical premises outlined, including mechanisms of change and structure of the model.
