Description
Scientists are rarely taught how to write effectively and with minimal bias. Psychological scientists may benefit from facilitated discussions that address historical context, pedagogy and the praxis of democratizing science and health writing. This program introduces participants to the psycho-social historical context of systems of oppression (racism, sexism, heterosexism, ableism and classism) in language and writing about science and health. Emphasis is on framing and writing for specific audiences.
