Ethical and Effective Telepsychology
Telepsychology has advanced rapidly, prompting significant updates to the APA’s Guidelines for the Practice of Telepsychology. This two-part webinar series explores the 2024 revised guidelines in depth.
Part 1 focuses on the historical context, major revisions, and considerations for psychologist competence, ethics, legal responsibilities, and administrative practices.
Part 2 addresses clinical best practices, training, and supervision, and guidance on emerging technologies. Practical vignettes and discussion will help apply the guidelines to ensure ethical, effective, and risk-managed telepsychology services in an evolving digital landscape while maintaining integrity and compliance.
All programs include closed captioning.
Live programs include PowerPoint presentation, Q&A with the presenter, and may include interactive polling, video clips, and other resources.
