Presenters
Heidi M. Levitt, PhD
Heidi Levitt, PhD, editor of Qualitative Psychology, is past president of the Society of Qualitative Inquiry in Psychology (SQIP), a section of APA Division 5. She chaired both the SQIP task force on qualitative research design and review and the inaugural APA JARS task force for qualitative, meta-analytic, and mixed methods. These efforts shaped the seventh edition of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (2020), which for the first time included qualitative and mixed methods guidance. Her 2018 JARS article was the most downloaded across all 89 APA journals the year it was published, reflecting the growing interest in qualitative research.

He is editor of Clinical Psychology: Science and Practice and former editor of APA’s Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology.
