Take advantage of Div. 1 benefits
Members of the American Psychological Association of Graduate Students can join APA's Div. 1 (Society for General Psychology) free of charge in 2007 by contacting Chairperson Matt Goodwin, via e-mail.
The division is also seeking student posters for its first-ever students-only poster session at APA's 2007 Annual Convention in San Francisco, Aug. 17-20. The session will focus on "Psychology across specialty areas or nations." Students' abstracts will also be published in the society's journal, The General Psychologist, in 2007. Apply for Div. 47 Dissertation Award
Div. 47 (Exercise and Sport) invites applications for its annual Dissertation Award. The award includes a plaque and a monetary prize, as well as the opportunity to present the winning project at APA's 2007 Annual Convention in San Francisco, Aug. 17-20.
