APA launches new podcast, ‘Speaking of Psychology'

"Speaking of Psychology," an audio podcast series from APA's Office of Public Affairs, offers talks by experts on the ways psychology relates to daily life.

"Teaching social skills to autistic teens," the first episode of the series, features UCLA psychologist Elizabeth Laugeson, PsyD, discussing a training program that she developed to teach students with autism spectrum disorder skills that help them interact with peers and build lasting friendships. Upcoming episodes will focus on peer pressure, terrorism, healthy eating, cyber-heroes and more.
