How representative are new psychologists?

Data from APA's Center for Psychology Workforce Analysis and Research suggest that Asians and people from multiethnic backgrounds are well represented among psychology's recent doctorates as compared with their numbers in the general population, though they are still underrepresented among psychologists in general. Blacks and Hispanics are less well represented among new psychology doctorates.
