Laura S. Brown, PhD, recently became an APF Legacy Club member. Impressed by the effectiveness of the Placek and Scrivner grant programs, Brown felt inspired to create a similar legacy in the field of feminist psychotherapy. Brown is a writer, speaker and clinical and forensic psychologist in independent practice in Seattle. She is also the founder and supervisor of the Fremont Community Therapy Project, a low-fee psychotherapy training clinic in Seattle.
