Eighty percent of professors use at least one social media website, such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube or LinkedIn, and 52 percent use these sites for educational purposes. Professors from the social sciences and humanities, including psychology, were among the top users for both personal and educational purposes, according to a survey by Pearson.
